Relax with a cocktail and dinner at Sauce Italian Grill before spending the evening being entertained with a performance at the Croswell Opera House, the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, Siena Heights University or Adrian College. Spend the next morning shopping in downtown Adrian, then grab lunch at the Governor Croswell Tea Room or Hooligan's Bar and Grill.


Evening activities abound in Blissfield, where you can take a ride on the Murder Mystery Dinner Train, or have dinner at the Hathaway House. Spend the night, and the next morning, pick up a sweet bakery treat at Cakes & Shakes. Later, enjoy a unique shopping experience at a downtown antique and gift shop before sitting down to a delicious lunch at the Stables.


On the route between Detroit and Chicago, you’ll find the lovely village of Clinton. Located in the northeastern part of Lenawee County, Clinton is home to the annual Clinton Fall Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors for a weekend of arts, crafts and entertainment. The downtown contains a variety of interesting shops for an afternoon of quiet shopping.


Head into Hudson for lunch and a local craft beer at Rumors. Enjoy the quiet of a small town with a short walk to the Hudson Museum or the Thompson House Museum, and see local history, as well as art and traveling exhibits on display.

Irish Hills

In town for MIS or want to enjoy a few days at one of the lakes? There are plenty of shops to visit where you can find unique decor and gifts at Devils Lake in Manitou Beach. Stop for a coffee or scoop of ice cream at Jenni's Coffee and Cream, then work off the calories while you explore the many trails and beauty of Hidden Lake Gardens.


A quiet, rural community, Morenci features a unique variety of experiences for visitors. Each summer, you can spend a fun weekend at the annual Town and Country Festival. You can also take part in the Labor Day Bridge Walk, which is Lenawee County’s version of the annual Mackinac Bridge Walk.


Find a unique trinket in Downtown Tecumseh and then take in a show at the Tecumseh Center of the Arts. The next morning, take a paddle down the River Raisin at the Tecumseh Paddling Company, or head over to Skydive Tecumseh for an exhilarating dive.
