Two Small Pieces of Glass
March 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Friday’s, March 6, 13, 20 and 27, at 7 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
While at a local star party, two teenage students learn from an astronomer about the history of telescopes, the nature of light and how telescopes work, as well how these instruments have allowed humans to expand their understanding of the Solar System and beyond. This fulldome show allows visitors to travel in time and space, visiting Galileo and Newton as they make historic discoveries. Join the students as they explore the astronomical wonders such as the Galilean Moons, Saturn’s rings and the spiral structure of galaxies. This production is distributed by the International Planetarium Society.
The Robinson Planetarium is located at the eastern end of Peelle Hall on the corner of Charles and Williams streets on the Adrian College campus. For more information, email astronomer Mark Fairclough at firstname.lastname@example.org.
