The top-three fishing teams, from ‘The Qualifier’, will automatically gain entry into the 3rd Annual “Fish Your Bass Off” Tournament, scheduled on Thursday, August 16. But that’s not all! The top-three angling teams, at ‘The Qualifier’, will also win $500 for first place; $350 for second; and $150 for third. Twenty-six teams of two are welcomed to join ‘The Qualifier’.

Entry fee is $100 per team. Besides Anglers, ‘The Qualifier’ event, from 5 to 8pm, is open to the public, free of charge. Activities at Jerry’s Pub that evening include a Tiki Bar Party, with live music by Fat Mouth Charlie, BBQ samples, Show Cars, and a Meet & Greet with some of the ARCA Racing Series Drivers!

Perhaps even more interesting than the "junk" are the people you will meet along the drive. The sales can be found along the highway at homes, farms, businesses, parking lots, and fields. Some areas will have large numbers of vendors while others may be scattered and in some instances a traveler will have to go several miles or more without seeing a yard sale because of the rural nature of the highway.

The Wine Days of Summer - Picnic Trail

Experience “The Wine Days of Summer,” a 2-day, self-driving tour of the eight wineries of the Pioneer Wine Trail. At each stop you’ll be served a generous pouring of one of their wines, paired with a wonderful picnic-related food prepared by a local chef or restaurant. You’ll also receive a recipe card to take home with you. There are a limited number of tickets available - first come, first served. Ticket sales will end on Wednesday, August 3 at midnight (or earlier, if sold out). Tickets are still only $25 and will NOT be available the day of the event.
