Fee Park: Located on M-52 at Michigan Ave. Park contains a beautiful statue of Harriet Fee and a gazebo.
Heritage Park: Located on M-52 [across from Adrian Cinema], north of Adrian. Walking, Mountain Biking and Disc Golf Course onsite. Stubnitz Environmental Center located at Heritage Park.
Island Park: Located on M-52, north of Adrian. Home of the Adrian Skate Park, bikes/skateboard areas.
Kiwanis Trail System: This well-maintained, year-round trail system offers walking, hiking, jogging, bicycling, wheelchair access, inline and roller skating and cross-country skiing. The trail system runs between Adrian (includes Trestle Park with covered picnic pavilion, restrooms & open air stage) and Tecumseh with bridges crossing over the Raisin River, beautiful scenery, nature and wildlife. The trail is asphalt, currently 7 miles long (8.5 miles when completed). Map of Trail - Information/Reviews
Riverside Park

Ellis Park: Open 6am-11:30pm daily. Located off W. Adrian Street on the east side of the River Raisin. This 17-acre park includes baseball and softball diamonds, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts and playground equipment. Facilities: Shelter, picnic tables and boat launch. Shelter House Rental: $10/shelter for Village residents-call the Village Office, 517-486-4347.
Clara Bachmayer Memorial Park: Open 6am-11:30pm daily. Located off W. Adrian Street on the west side of the River Raisin. This 7-acre park includes-playground equipment, picnic tables, and shelter houses. Connected to Ellis Park by two pedestrian footbridges that span the river. Shelter House Rental: $10/shelter for village residents-call the Village Office, 517-486-4347.
Bachmayer Little League Memorial Park: Open 6am-11:30pm daily. Located at 110 Veterans Avenue. This 4-acre park includes Little League Baseball Field, picnic tables, portable restroom facilities and Boundless ‘barrier free’ Playground site (ADA & Handicap accessible playground equipment).
O.W. Farver Memorial Little League Park: Located at 236 W. Sugar Street. This 6 acre park includes Little League Baseball Field.

Tate Park:
Tate Park is located on Michigan Avenue west of the River Raisin. The beautiful 80 acre park has a well maintained quad plex softball complex with concessions, three picnic shelters, gazebo, soccer fields, canoe delivery, playground equipment, a seven acre island with nature trails, and much more.
Veterans Park: Located downtown and serves as a memorial to the Veterans of War. There is a historical monument and open space for reflecting.
Water Works Park: One-acre park with a picnic area, river access for fishing and the Scout Cabin

Gerber Hill: Located at 14360 Carroll Rd., Deerfield Twp., Blissfield, MI. This 40 acre park was formed by glaciers which left a sand base. There are trails through the woods with tree identification markers. Facilities: Picnic shelter with grills & tables, portable restrooms, soccer/baseball fields, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball court, playground equipment, sledding hill and pond.
Iron Lake Park: Located at 12000 block of Egan Highway, Brooklyn, MI. This 1-acre park has a boat launch and fishing on Iron Lake.
Medina Park: Located at 9000 Warrick Rd., Canadiagua, MI. This 40 acre park is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Facilities: Two picnic shelters with grills and tables, water, softball fields, playground, restrooms and fishing on Bean Creek.
Ramsdell [Natural] Park: Located at 1957 Glenn Hill Highway, Rollin Township, Clayton, MI. This 180 acre park is open year round with native prairie trails, beautiful fall colors, hiking trails, cross-country skiing, playground equipment, native tall grass prairies, rolling hills, ponds, abundant wildlife and wonderful bird-watching opportunities. Facilities: Shelter with center fireplace, grills and tables, water and portable restrooms.
BiCentennial Park: Located at 5543 Tipton Highway, Tipton, MI. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day. This 78-acre park includes a beautiful natural hiking trail through one of Lenawee County’s virgin timbers along with soccer field, volleyball court, playground area and softball field. Facilities: Shelter area with grills and tables, hand water pump and portable restroom facilities.
Taylor Park: Located at Taylor Road and Carson Highway, Franklin Township, Tipton, MI. This park includes 80 undeveloped acres engineered as a flood pond for natural wildlife habitats, designed in cooperation with the DNR and various wildlife organizations.

Wakefield Park

Adams Park: Located directly west of City Hall at East Chicago Boulevard and Maumee Street. A small, yet, beautifully landscaped park with a working water fountain gives Adams Park its own unique character. Facilities: Water fountain, benches, drinking fountain, parking and lavatory in municipal office.
Beardsley Park: Undeveloped on 8.3 acres.
Bramblewood Green Space: Size: 0.5 acres
Cal Zorn Recreation Center: Located on Russell Road between Waskin Drive and Raisin Center Highway. This facility is the center point for many recreational programs including baseball and softball, batting cage, soccer and flag football. There is also a small children's playground and picnic area. This park is complete with on-site parking, concession and restroom facilities, picnic shelter, three youth baseball / softball diamonds and a large open green space area. This facility truly offers every resident of this community an opportunity to enjoy recreational activities. Facilities: Shelter, picnic tables, grills, playground, soccer, baseball batting cage, football fields, basketball court, water fountains, lavatories and parking.
Community Center: The historical Tecumseh Community Center is located on East Chicago Boulevard, three blocks east of City Hall. The small green space directly behind the center is an ideal spot for a family picnic overlooking the Globe Mill Pond.
Facilities: Fishing boats without motors are permitted on the Globe Mill Pond. Outdoor grills, Senior Center, indoor and outdoor lavatories, drinking fountains and beverage machines.
Douglas Bird Kiwanis Memorial Park: Kiwanis Park is located on North Maumee Street at Herrick Park Drive. Evans Creek flows directly through this park giving Memorial Park its unique setting. Facilities: Playground areas, picnicking with outdoor grills, benches, a lighted walking pathway including a bridge connection that connects the two sections of the park and open green space. During the winter months the park hill is used as a sled run.
Elliott Park: Located on East Kilbuck Street at Ottawa Street. This park is also referred to as the Scout Cabin. Facilities: Playground areas, picnicking, outdoor grills and open green space. The Scout Cabin can be used as a meeting space for a donation.
Evans Park: Located on North Evans Street near Burt Street. This Historical Park marks the site of the first home in Tecumseh. Park's primary focus is fishing, which is available adjacent to the park.
Indian Crossing Trails Park: This 130 acres of beautiful scenery features picturesque views of the River Raisin. This park also includes several walking paths, one path with benches, along the Globe Mill raceway, which is one mile long. The community has plans to make this park a focal point of Tecumseh.
Mill At Standish Pond: Size: 57.7 acres
Monument Park: Size: 0.2 acres
Occidental Street Site: Open green space of 2.3 acres is currently undeveloped.
Patterson Park: Located directly west of the Patterson Elementary School along Evans Creek. Patterson School can be reached off North VanBuren or North Union Street. Facilities: Picnic table, grill and parking.
Satterthwaite Park: Located next to the Tecumseh Community Center on East Chicago Boulevard. This park has three lighted tennis courts, inline skating rinks, two picnic shelters and the Globe Mill Pond. Facilities: Tennis courts, inline skating rink, basketball courts, picnicking, outdoor grills, shelters, playground area and fishing.
South Occidental Park: This 10-acre parcel is the newest addition to the City's park system. This park includes three soccer fields, one baseball diamond, playground equipment, restrooms, a natural ice rink and picnic shelter. This park houses the scheduling for soccer and baseball games.
Standish Dam: This passive park is located on the corner of Shawnee and Evans Street. The beautiful landscaping, park benches, lights and the gazebo provide a very peaceful and unique park setting.
Sunset Street Park: This small open green space of 1 acre is located on Chicago Boulevard at Sunset Street.
Tecumseh Park: The "Pit" is located on Adrian Street at Cummins Street. The rolling hillside, swimming and large open green space afford many recreational opportunities. This park has restroom facilities that are in operation during the summer months. This park also features "The Struggle", a bike and skate facility within the park. Family picnicking, playground structure, tennis, inline skating, outdoor grills, fishing on shore, swimming, sand beach volleyball, winter sledding and ice fishing are just a few of the many opportunities the Tecumseh Park has to offer. No boats are permitted on the water in Tecumseh Park. Facilities: Bike and skate facility, playground structure, one sand volleyball court, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, one sand soccer field, hand court, parking areas, beach, water slide, picnic tables, grills, horseshoe pits, sled hills, fishing, drinking fountain and pop and snack machines.
Westhaven Site: This open green space of less than an acre is located on Piquot Way.

State Parks in Lenawee County

Lake Hudson State Recreation Area: Take M-34, east of Hudson, six miles to Clayton, MI and go one mile south on M-156. This 2200-acre state park, surrounding the 600-acre Lake Hudson (“no-wake” lake), offers a natural semi-modern campground, picnic area, boat launch and a beach with hand pumps and pit toilets. Deer, geese and wild turkeys are abundant and limited hunting is allowed in season. This state park is also Michigan’s first “Dark Sky Preserve”, where night time lighting is controlled with the intent of preserving an area for enjoyment of the night sky. W. J. Hayes State Park: Located at 1220 Wampler’s Lake Rd., Onsted, MI, the corner of US-12 and M-124. This 654-acre state park, in the heart of the Irish Hills, is surrounded by Wampler’s Lake and Round Lake. The park includes campgrounds, cabins, public beach, boat launch, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, picnic shelters, grills and tables, concessions and restroom/shower facilities. Surrounding Area Parks & Gardens
Hidden Lake Gardens: Michigan State University’s 755+ Acre Arboretum. Entrance located on M-50, in the Irish Hills Area of Lenawee County, Tipton, MI. Beautifully maintained gardens, walking trails, driving trails, cross-country skiing available, a unique Conservatory with a variety of Bonsai Trees and an abundance of unique plants and flowers. Special Events throughout the year, including Children’s Activities, Holiday Events Master Gardener Program and Classes/Workshops available to the public. Information: 517-431-2060.

McCourtie Park: Located in Hillsdale County, on US-12 (west of US-127), just outside the Irish Hills area of Lenawee County, in Somerset Township. This 42-acre park, once the McCourtie Estate, is now a one-of-a-kind showplace that includes 17 painstakingly carved cement bridges that criss-cross a stream that meanders through the property, two ponds, an underground apartment and garage, two “tree” chimneys and two unique birdhouses.
